Terms of use

These terms cover this website. A business that buys Shelly signs a separate agreement.

What this site is

This website is run by Gray Sand Technology in San Diego, California. It describes Shelly, a website, inbox, and search agent for businesses, shows its prices, lets a visitor ask the agent about it, and links to a booking page for a call with Dan Smith. Using the site means you accept these terms.

Prices and setup

The prices on the pricing page are for the service described beside them: a setup that Gray Sand performs and a monthly subscription for the agent it sets up. Nothing on this site is a checkout. Setup begins after a call and a written proposal, and the proposal you accept is what fixes the price and the scope of the work.

A price on this site can change. The price in a proposal you have already accepted holds for that engagement.

Nothing here is advice

The text of this site, the agent's answers about it, and anything a Shelly agent says on a client's site are information taken from published pages. None of it is medical, legal, financial, or professional advice, and none of it replaces a person qualified to give that advice.

The business that runs an agent writes its instructions, and five rules sit above them that no instruction can override. The data page lists them.

The agent on this site

You may use the answer box on the home page and the demo on the contact page to see how the product answers. The home page box is a live agent reading this site, and the contact page demo answers from a scripted set. Neither is anybody's live customer agent, and neither should be relied on for anything beyond seeing how Shelly works.

Client agreements

A business that buys Shelly gets a written agreement that covers the service, the price, and the handling of its data, and that agreement governs the service. These terms cover the website only.

Ownership

The words, the design, and the wave mark on this site belong to Gray Sand Technology. A client's pages, conversations, and emails stay the client's; Gray Sand holds them to run the service and for nothing else.

Use of the site

Read it, share links to it, and ask the agent about it. Do not try to break it, send it traffic meant to take it down, or use the agent to post abuse. The site's robots file lets search engines and AI assistants read it on purpose.

Accuracy and liability

Gray Sand keeps this site accurate and current, and prices and features are checked against the product before they are published. Even so, the site is offered as it is, without a warranty that it is free of errors, and Gray Sand is not liable for a decision made on the strength of its content. The place to confirm anything before acting on it is a call or an email to hello@graysandtech.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
